Upgrade Pack, a first-to-market platform providing exclusive upgrades on flights and hotels around the world, has announced a new finance investment of $1.5 million, bringing total funds raised in the FinTech scaleup to $4.1m since the company was founded 12 months ago.

The new financing was led by UK investment firm Havisham Group, and sees British entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist Lord Brownlow join Upgrade Pack as company Chairman. Lord Brownlow is also known for his work as Vice-Chairman of Campaigning for the Conservative Party, having held the role since 2017.

Delivered as an app, Upgrade Pack provides users with a live, easy-to-use tool to upgrade their travel at a reduced cost, while providing banks and corporations with a unique, value-driven form of customer reward. Upgrade Pack, the first UK tech company to be employee-owned, will use the new capital to launch its platform in the coming months and expand its operations to North America and Asia Pacific.
